Malik E. McKany MD, Doctor of Medicine, graduated in 1979 from the College of Medicine/Baghdad University in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his internship at Baghdad University Associated Hospitals in 1980. He then completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in 1988. Dr. McKany received specialty training in endoscopy and pancreatic surgery at the University of Michigan in 1988. He also was trained as a Console Surgeon using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2011. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a certified member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Dr. McKany is currently the Chief of Staff at Trinity Health Oakland
